Quality and Style in Your Wardrobe, We Tell You How!

quality

When it comes to office garments, what should be the priority? The priority is defined by you, but in the equation you must take into account these 3 characteristics

  • Quantity
  • Quality
  • Variety
    quality

There are brands that offer you the possibility of dressing well, at a good price and without sacrificing the durability and quality of your clothes. In this article we will give you some tips to make sure that that garment that you liked in the store or boutique is a quality garment that will last in your wardrobe.

Check your backlight color

Place one of your hands under the fabric of the garment when you review it. The less you see your hand through the fabric, it means that the garment is of better quality. As long as it is not a normal feature of the fabric (lace or satin, for example).

Check the closures

The closure should always be part of the design of the garment. To know if you worked with quality, the zipper must be covered in the garment or be the same color of the fabric. If it is exposed, it is a poor quality indicator.

Choose fabrics well

If your garment is made of fabrics such as wool, silk or cotton, they will always be of better quality than synthetic fabrics. They are pieces that are destined to last longer if they are taken care of in the washing and ironing instructions.

Know the patterns

The patterns in the garments are the lines of the design. These lines speak. If you know how to check, you can identify if a garment is or is not of quality. When these lines do not match, it means that there was no care in the finish of the seam and as a result, it is more likely that your garment will be unstitched or break over time.

The seams are important

The space between the seams of the clothing delimits the cost of manufacturing the garment. The more space between the seams, the clothing was made reducing costs. That is, they are sacrificing quality, for the price of production.

4 TIPS TO INNOVATE WITH THE CLOTHES YOU USE TO GO TO WORK

INNOVATE WITH THE CLOTHES

Have you ever seen yourself in the situation of starting a new job and not being sure how you should dress to make the right impression? Surely yes.

This situation may resemble a crisis, but following the right advice, you can overcome this complicated moment. Here we share what you should take into account to get it right.

INNOVATE WITH THE CLOTHES

Tips :

You must know where you are stepping.

It is essential that you always have clarity of the position you occupy in the office, that and the image you want to capture are the two main factors that define what your style of dress will be.

Communication is everywhere, and the way you dress is one more way to communicate. If your style is not according to the position you occupy, you will be communicating to others that you are not ready to assume it, or that you are not comfortable playing that role.

What you want to achieve

Companies choose their personnel not only for their abilities to fulfill or carry out certain functions; it also influences the appearance and the presence projected by that person before others. That is why, if you were chosen to occupy a role in which you must stand up for the company, your dress must be part of that occupation that you will be developing from now on, and therefore, you are the voice and face of the company that you represent.

Have variety, escape from boredom.

Make sure your wardrobe is flexible. That is, try that your clothes can alternate between one and another. Take into account that your combinations should look professional. It does not matter if it is an executive or operational position, the formality is not fought with comfort.

This way you will avoid getting bored with your work clothes.

Have many accessories.

But not to use them all at once. The idea is that the accessories serve as a support to achieve what you want with your outfits.

These elements are almost as important as your main clothes because they give that personal touch to your image.

Children's gif

Safety first!

Choosing the electric scooter for your child must be done first and foremost according to safety criteria. An adapted scooter must have reliable and adequate systems:

• a wide, non-slip
platform for optimum stability and safety, a secure starter system,
• perfect acceleration control, controlled by a handle or push button,
• a system perfect brake, placed on the handlebars or the rear wheel and to freely adjust the speed.

For maximum safety, do not hesitate to complete your gift of a helmet, elbow pads, and kneepads granted to the scooter!

A scooter adapted to the child

The ideal scooter combines comfort, ergonomics, and lightness while being adapted to the age, weight and size of your child. Carefully examine the details of the technical features to make sure you make the right choice:

• the maximum load accepted, adjusted to the weight of the child,
• the weight of the scooter: opt for the lightness, between 10 and 13 kg,
• the maximum speed, between 13 and 16 km / h,
• the height of the handlebars, adjustable for maximum comfort during use.

A budget to predict

An electric scooter inevitably involves a certain cost. Try to choose the best value by relying on consumer reviews. Count on a minimum budget of 200 euros for a robust scooter, designed with strong and durable materials and equipped with a battery having a good autonomy.

Discover Gemstones: Know Everything About Precious and Semiprecious Stones

Gemstones

Ring, earrings, pendants, bracelets, or piercing jewelry, the stones adorn and beautifully showcase all kinds of jewelry. These gems are divided into two categories that are precious and fine. How to differentiate the two?

Gemstones

Where does the name gemmes precious and fine?

To know everything about the precious and precious stones most commonly found in lapidaries and jewelery, visit this online encyclopedia. Accessible to the general public, their data sheets are the most complete and will give you precious details about the characteristics of each stone. With this site, aquamarines, moonstones, rubies, pink quartz and others will no longer have any secrets for you.

Whether for jewelry in gold, silver, platinum, rhodium, not to mention the fantasies … Nearly fifty gems are now used in the creation and manufacture of jewelry. They are first and foremost all-natural minerals, but above all also known for their hardness. Otherwise, it would be almost impossible to carve them and give them shapes. Subsequently, depending on their purity, transparency and rarity, these stones can be described as fine or precious.

Remember that this distinction already existed in antiquity. And it goes without saying that synthesized and reconstituted stones are not part of it. Thus, only four in particular including diamonds, rubies, sapphires and emeralds, precious gems are still today the most prized and the most expensive on the market. Some are even called real gems. This is, for example, the case of the Regent, one of the most beautiful white diamonds in the world.

What is really called fine gems?

As it is increasingly difficult to find precious gems, their prices keep increasing. This is why in recent years, gemologists, lapidaries, and jewelers are turning more and more on fine stones. And similarly to the precious stones that are diamonds, emeralds or sapphires, these stones are also declined in raw, cut or polished.

Moreover, when the tourmaline, the blue chalcedony or the peridot are of an exceptional beauty, in particular, the qualities AAA, their value often exceeds that of some precious ones. These stones can then be sold very expensively. But whatever it is, these gems are fine in that their hardness is simply inferior to the previous ones.

We must also talk about their crystalline side and their transparency. More specifically, with a few exceptions, the majority of these minerals easily let the light through. Otherwise, fine gems are also available in a very wide range of colors to mention only yellow, brown, purple …

Beware, however, even if in many countries, their name of the semiprecious stone is still de rigueur, this label is now prohibited in France. The goal here is to avoid any confusion with the real precious gems. Finally, it should be noted that amber, a fossilized plant resin, as well as natural or cultured pearls are also considered as fine stones.

The Snow Queen: how to make Elsa’s braid?

Tuto hairstyle: The braid of Elsa from The Frozen

The animated film The Frozen is a planetary box. All little girls (and little boys too) only have eyes for the beautiful Princess Elsa. And many of them dream of having the same hairstyle: this sublime voluminous braid. Notice to moms, we will explain how to make this famous hairstyle, which is none other than an African braid on the side, thanks to the advice of the blogger Alicia (). This young mother made the braid on her little girl and the result is bluffing. We let you discover the tutorial.

Step 1 : Untangle the hair and make a stripe on the side. Put all the hair on one side. Take a small wick on the top of the head. Divide it into three equal parts and start the braid.
Step 2 : Start by making a classic braid. For that, it is enough to pass alternatively the wick of right above that of the middle then the wick of left above that of the middle. As you weave, add strands of hair to incorporate them into the braid so that it sticks to the skull and follows the path of the hair. Tighten more or less the braid according to your desire.
Step 3: Pass the last strands of the braid under the left ear. Finish by making a classic braid that you will drop on the shoulder. That’s it. You can make this same braid in a more classic way in the back. In this case, take a wick on the top of the head where you want the braid to start.
Little trick : to give more relief to the braid, you can execute it upside down. In this case, take the three strands, except that instead of passing the right and left strands above the middle, you pass them below. Last, this hairstyle can be performed on all types of hair, including the finest, but it is best that they are long (at least the shoulder).

At 23, He adopts the look of Prince George for a week!

We know that Prince George is a true fashion icon. All his outfits are deciphered, and on each of his official releases (or not elsewhere), the clothes he wears are stormed by young moms around the world. But it seems that Baby George is also a source of inspiration for young men like Max Knoblauch. Aged 23, this journalist from the American site “Mashable” has chosen to dress like the little prince for a week. A rather crazy idea! In fact, the journalist simply finds that the son of Kate Middleton and Prince William has a much more hectic life than his. “Prince George is a baby, he has never done anything of his life as I have never done anything of mine. So I’m perfect for that. ” As he points out, “no one has ever complimented [his] style … while  Prince George was named the 49th best-dressed man in Britain by GQ magazine.”

Wishing that people change their minds about his style of dress, Max embarked on this original adventure. As he explains: he has faced two challenges: finding clothes to his size and avoid being arrested!

At the end of the week, this real “field journalist” explains that this experience has taught him many things. “New Yorkers do not care what you wear.” Moreover, according to him, “we should all try to be royal babies”. Who knows, he may be launching a new trend: the royal style baby for men … Not sure that women appreciate! In any case, I do not adhere at all. I prefer the miniature version.

Moscow: a fashion show with “armed” children creates controversy

In Russia, little girls marched armed with plastic guns to advocate peace in the world. But far from moving, the show has aroused strong criticism …

mosow child

As every year, Russia puts the spotlight on headgear at the famous CHAPEAU fair. During this event, several parades and stands present the latest trends in contemporary Russian and international fashion. And we can say that the 2014 edition, which was held a few days ago in Moscow, was strong, even very strong.

While the war rages in eastern Ukraine between Ukrainian soldiers and pro-Russian separatists, a show with children has created controversy. And for good reason, little girls aged between 10 and 12, dressed in colorful dresses from different countries, walked on the catwalk. Each wore a hat representing a lighthouse monument of the nation in question. So far nothing abnormal. The problem was that these young ladies had fake rifles that they ran, in turn, to the public. Models from countries like Russia, France, China, Spain or Britain pointed their weapons at the assembly. For once, I’m not a fan. But what is more disconcerting is that the little girl wearing the blue and yellow colors of Ukraine has squarely directed the weapon against his head, miming a suicide, after having also directed his weapon towards the spectators, then towards the little “Russian” and the little “American”.

Fortunately, the end is much less creepy since a girl, dressed as an angel, comes to disarm all his colleagues. And little girls wearing the colors of the United States, Ukraine and Russia join hands.

At the height of her 10th birthday, Alita Andrishevskaya, the so-called creator of this show, who also represented Russia, explained that the theme of her pageant was “the children of the world against the war” . The presenter of the event, moreover added that this show “was inspired by the events in Ukraine. This table shows that all the children of the world are united, they are friends and want peace. For their part, the organizers insisted that this show was “not at all political”. No kidding? Despite the rather benevolent end, I am not convinced. Did the young Alita really do this show alone? The costumes, the hats, the weapons and the staging? One wonders … Many adults, whether Russians or Ukrainians do not already understand this war. So children? !!

In order to calm the controversy, Alita posted on social networks a photo of all “countries” gathered with the legend: “that’s how it should be. This poor child and all the others were certainly used to make a “beautiful” propaganda message.

7 years, Down syndrome and … muse of a clothing brand

Even if mentalities evolve too slowly, there is progress! In Britain, a 7-year-old girl with Down syndrome, better known as trisomy 21, has been chosen to be the face of a clothing brand. This is indeed what the Daily Mail reports.

The small Natty, from the city of Padstow, was selected from a hundred young models to be the face of the new campaign Sainsbury’s brand, the third largest chain stores.

The girl becomes the main model of their school uniforms. Clients and customers, young and old, will be able to wander in the stores and find the posters of the little star. It will also be on the catalogs of the sign. Like a real star!

“We are delighted that so many people will see that Natty is just a charming, bright and cheerful little girl,” says the young model’s mother.

Sainsbury’s is a good demonstration of the difference. But this type of approach is still too rare. How shocking is it to put a baby with Down’s Syndrome at the top of the bill as long as it is not a question of recovering the handicap to sell … but simply to change mentalities, or show that everyone can be beautiful. At a time when appearance and the race for perfection takes precedence over everything, the signs certainly fear for their image. Fortunately, some dare to take the lead.

And this is not the first time that a brand for children decides to take young people with Down syndrome to represent its collections. In 2011, Alysia Lewis, owner of Urban Angels, a UK children’s modeling agency, chose Taya for her liveliness and sense of humor. “She’s an incredibly photogenic child,” she said then. And I agree with her. What’s more beautiful than a child’s smile!

In 2012, in the United States, the little Ryan, aged 6, parade him for the brands Nordstrom and Target.

The same year, it was the Spanish designer, Dolores Cortes, specializing in the design of swimwear, who had taken as a face, Valentina, a 10-month-old girl with trisomy 21. As explained by the designer at the Time: ” People with trisomy 21 are all as beautiful and deserve the same opportunities as others. I am delighted that Valentina poses for us  . “

Mulberry Bayswater East West bag

East West bag

I have a longing to own a genuine Mulberry Bayswater Bag, preferably in crushed rouge noir patent leather. However, when I go to the shop to touch and feel that coveted Mulberry designer handbag there is one thing that has stopped me from buying the bag.

East West bag

The obstacle to my purchase is the size of the thing. I just find it too unwieldy, and I might have bought it before realizing if the assistant had not suggested that I look at it in the mirror. On me, the standard Mulberry Bayswater Bag looks seriously oversized. But, as I was in one of Mulberry’s own stores at the time there was plenty of other stock to look at. It was then that I spotted the often overlooked Mulberry Bayswater East West Tote, perfectly sized for any woman under 5 feet 4 (like me). This little cutie measures 17.5cm high and 33 cm wide – a few years ago that would have been classified as a large handbag, but not anymore.

Another dislike of mine is the matt leather that Mulberry use for a lot of versions of this iconic bag.   But this Mulberry Bayswater East West in Chocolate Brown print will be a lot easier to maintain than the matt finish. It is available now at John Lewis at £550 but act fast because a lot of colors have already sold out. Free delivery in the UK and a money back guarantee means you can buy with confidence.
